Work with me through therapy or coaching
Individual therapy and coaching offer a space to slow down and look more closely at the patterns, relationships, and life experiences that have shaped how you move through your life today.
For clients located in California, this work is offered as licensed psychotherapy. For those outside the state, I offer coaching grounded in the same relational, attachment-informed, and mindfulness-based approach.
Together we explore the emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and inner narratives that influence how you show up in your relationships, your decisions, and your sense of self.
This work is collaborative, depth-oriented, and designed to support meaningful and lasting change.
You may have already done a lot of work on yourself
Many of the women who begin working with me are not new to personal growth.
You may have been to therapy before, read the books, listened to the podcasts, and spent years trying to understand yourself and your relationships. You have insight into why certain patterns exist in your life, and yet despite that awareness you may still find yourself living in the same dynamics, having the same arguments in your relationship, or reacting in ways you wish you could change.
Over time this can become frustrating and discouraging. You may wonder why, after all the effort you have put into growing and understanding yourself, things still don’t feel the way you hoped they would.
From the outside your life may look stable and successful. You are capable, responsible, and the person others rely on. You hold a lot together and carry a great deal for the people in your life.
But internally there may be a growing realization that you do not want the next five or ten years of your life to look like the last five or ten.
Not because everything is falling apart, but because something in you knows the patterns you have been living inside are no longer working.
For many women, that realization becomes the moment they decide they are ready for a different kind of work.
What working together looks like
Our work together begins by slowing things down and looking more closely at what has been shaping your experiences, reactions, and relationships.
Many of the patterns that create frustration in adulthood were originally developed as ways of coping, protecting, or adapting earlier in life. In our work, we begin to understand how those patterns formed, what purpose they once served, and why they may no longer be working in the ways they once did.
As that understanding deepens, many women experience a shift in how they relate to themselves. Instead of judging their reactions or feeling stuck in them, they begin to see the deeper story behind them. This often brings a greater sense of compassion for the parts of themselves that have been carrying pain, responsibility, or emotional weight for a long time.
At the same time, insight alone is not the end goal. Together we begin translating that awareness into new ways of responding in your life and relationships. This may involve recognizing patterns earlier, communicating your needs more clearly, or developing the confidence to make choices that feel more aligned with who you are becoming.
Over time, many women find that they are no longer reacting from the same automatic places. They feel more grounded in themselves, clearer about what they want, and more capable of creating relationships and lives that feel fulfilling rather than repetitive.
The work is collaborative, thoughtful, and relational. My role is not simply to offer insight, but to help you recognize the patterns that have shaped your life and support you in creating meaningful and lasting change.
Areas we may explore together
Every woman’s story and starting point are different, but many of the themes that bring women into this work include:
- Feeling stuck in patterns that insight alone hasn’t changed. You may already understand why certain reactions, relationship dynamics, or emotional patterns exist in your life. But despite that awareness, you still find yourself pulled back into the same responses or situations. In our work, we move beyond insight into practical tools and new ways of responding that support real change.
- Relationship challenges and recurring relational dynamics. Feeling caught in the same conversations, conflicts, or emotional patterns in your relationships, and wanting to understand what is happening beneath the surface so you can begin responding differently.
- Life transitions and identity shifts. Navigating seasons where life is changing or your sense of self is evolving. This might include shifts in relationships, parenting roles, career direction, divorce, or the realization that the life you built no longer fully reflects who you are becoming.
- Stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. Living with a persistent sense of pressure, worry, or emotional fatigue, often while still appearing capable and high functioning on the outside.
- Boundaries, self-trust, and authentic expression. Learning how to recognize your needs, communicate them more clearly, and move through life with greater confidence in your voice, choices, and direction.
- Healing past experiences that continue to shape the present. Understanding how earlier wounds or protective strategies may still be influencing your reactions, relationships, and emotional life today.
