About Joree Rose
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and mindfulness teacher with years of experience supporting individuals and couples through healing old wounds, relationship challenges, life transitions, and personal growth.
My approach to therapy and growth
My work is rooted in evidence-based modalities including attachment theory, IFS-informed parts work, Gottman relationship tools, mindfulness practices, and nervous system awareness.
Together, these approaches help us understand how past experiences shape present relationships, how protective patterns develop, and why certain emotional responses can feel so automatic even when we want something different.
At the center of my work is the belief that meaningful change happens in the context of an authentic relationship.
I show up in the therapy space as a whole person. You may come to know parts of my story or hear reflections from my own experience, always in service of the work. I believe that authenticity creates trust, and trust creates the conditions for deeper honesty and growth.
Today, I work with women who are ready to take responsibility for their growth, interrupt outdated patterns, and create relationships that feel aligned, conscious, and deeply fulfilling.
Professional background
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and mindfulness teacher with years of experience supporting individuals and couples as they work through old wounds, relationship challenges, life transitions, and personal growth.
In addition to my clinical work, I am the author of three books and a podcast host. Journey Forward with Joree Rose includes more than 250 episodes exploring mindfulness, parenting, relationships, emotional growth, and authentic living. These conversations remain available for listeners who want to explore these themes more deeply.
A foundation of my career has been teaching mindfulness and meditation practices and developing original curriculum for both in-person workshops and online courses. I have also facilitated women’s retreats, immersive experiences designed to help women slow down, reflect deeply, and reconnect with themselves.
Today, I continue to expand this work through both private sessions and relational spaces designed for deeper dialogue, healing, growth, and connection.
I also co-host the podcast Love Isn’t Enough with psychologist Dr. John Schinnerer, my husband and professional partner. Together we explore the realities of modern relationships and what it takes to cultivate emotional safety, communication, and lasting connection.
