Joree Rosenblatt has a Master's in Counseling Psychology and is currently completing her licensure towards becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist. She is the counselor onsite at an independent K-8 private school in northern California, where she also guides all the students in weekly, experiential mindfulness practices. She has done extensive training, both personal and professional, in different areas of mindfulness, including Mindfulness in Education as well as Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.


Joree has developed original mindfulness curriculum that she teaches to children, adults and families in individual and/or groups. She also goes into corporate and educational settings to facilitate trainings and lead staff development workshops on how to cultivate a mindfulness practice. Joree is currently developing content and curriculum for a college course on the Fundamentals of Mindfulness, which she will subsequently teach. And in addition to educating others, Joree regularly writes articles on mindfulness, mindful parenting and mindfulness in education for a variety of publications; she is a regular contributor for the Randi Zuckerberg website Dot Complicated as well as the expert on Mindful Parenting on Expert Beacon. Joree also speaks at numerous conferences, on topics such as of Mindfulness in Education and Mindful Parenting.

Joree lives in northern California with her husband and two daughters. She is passionate about being a mom, cooking, going on retreats and bringing mindfulness into all aspects of her life. She practices mindfulness on a daily basis, credits it to “changing her life” and giving her the tools to live authentically with greater peace, happiness and presence.
